MONDAY 31ST DECEMBER | UMHLANGA ROCKS FESTIVAL GROUNDS
Mr White has been doing the Umhlanga NYE Parties for 3 years now. This party will keep all the House Music, Hip Hop and R&B fans, joling all night long.
Heading up the Hip Hop and R&B Marquee will be the mix-master and SA’s top Hip Hop DJ, READY D, with 2 other DMC Champs, DJ Jeff and Funky G. No other Hip Hop line-up on the night will be able to compare to this superstar line-up.
Mr White Productions and the owners of Cottonfields will be bringing you Umhlanga’s first large scale NYE event aimed to please the over 25 market. This NYE event will cater for people with a more commercial taste in music. Music from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and Top 40 Radio Hits will be on the menu for this nostalgic night.
Summer is here and with it comes our biggest parties. We thought we would kick off our summer at the ultimate summer venue – The Beach Club on Vetchies Pier, Durban Point Waterfront. This are is one of the most picturesque in Durban at the moment.
We have managed to secure Lady Lea on her “Catch Me If You Can 3” Summer Tour. Green JNR, Agent K & Kingpin will be added to the line-up for the night.
Heineken Music and Mr White Productions will be starting a new brand of party called HARD HOUSE ACADEMY. The first of these events will take place at TILT in Walnut Road.
Sam Boylan and Marc Trollip were our first choices for this new brand of event. They will be joined by the exciting newcomers Andrew and Darrin, handpicked by Sam and Mark to play the closing set. These two new exciting DJs play back to back for what makes for an entertaining set. The main floor at Tilt will have an extra 9000 watts added to create a mind blowing experience of bangin beats. So if you like it hard, this will be the floor for you.
Heineken Music, Mr White Productions and Tilt Nightclub bring you the first in a series of Superstar DJ parties. They are combining international DJ Talent with our own local superstars to bring you one awesome event. The party is split over three dancefloors being the main floor, deep house floor and the Hip Hop floor. An extra marquee will be added outside to cater for the extra dancefloor, as well as extra bars and toilets.
This year the Durban July will close at 9pm, creating the need for a sizeable afterparty to cater for all you Durban July enthusiasts. With this in mind Mr White Productions, Panama Room and Smirnoff Storm, are conspiring to bring you the most happening street party. Taking place on the corner of Stamford Hill Road and Walls Avenue, this massive event will cater for a cosmopolitan group of trend setters. Panama Room, as well as the basement, and Walls Avenue will showcase 3 dancefloor areas with extra seating, bars and toilets being added for the expected crowd. Don’t worry girls the street will be covered with a marquee, carpeted and will have heaters, so you can still wear that expensive outfit you bought for the July.
