MYLO

He began his DJ career in 2001, while doing his first year degree at university. “Even though I've always had a love for music, it was the moment I first laid my hands on the decks that made me decide that music was the career I wanted to get into.”

It was in 2003 when he had his first break, playing at Roger Goode’s 5FM Saturday Surgery. Not long after that he got himself a spot on the line up of "The Durban Underground," which to date, is still Durban's biggest and longest running dance event.

Later that same year he got a residency at Bean Bag Bohemia, where you can still find him playing a more chilled and soulful set on a weekday afternoon.
Since then he secured another residency at Panama Room.

“I can't really put my music taste under any specific genre. I'm the type of person who likes all types of house music, from deep to the more progressive stuff, and if a song has the ability to make me feel good, putting a smile on my face and keeping the people dancing, well then that’s the type of music I play.”
