When one considers what this young man has achieved at the tender age of 23, it comes as no surprise that he has been brought on board to join the all-new cast of 5fm. He is talented, ambitious and opinionated - an ideal set of character traits for someone behind the microphone.

Growing up in Cape Town, Roger has always aspired to be on the airwaves. From the moment he spoke his first word, Roger was extremely talkative, and family and friends have been suggesting he embark on career in broadcasting for a number of years. With meager equipment and bundles of creative energy, Roger used to hand out tapes at high school with his own remixes of radio adverts and jingles, mangled together with sounds from old records. It was undoubtedly a clear sign as to his future calling.
