Lea started DJ'ing 12 years ago using cd players, then moved on to vinyl one and a half years later. Lea is now playing on both cd players and vinyl.

Her first residency was at DNA in Pretoria, and then got a 2nd residency at ESP in Johannesburg. Since then she has been DJing around the world at various clubs, parties, raves, corporate events, and fashion shows. Lea arrived back in 2003 from spinning in top clubs in the U.K, and working in the world’s top music retail store- HMV, as a singles and vinyl buyer.

On the 1st March 1999, Lea opened a record shop (Flipside Records , and has since opened a recording studio and Record label-Flipside Recordings- producing her own music and doing recording for dj's and producers all around the country.

Being a versatile house dj, Lea plays music ranging from Tec/electro-house, funky / Disco house, and deep house. Lea will always play the right type of groove for the right type of club, and she has alot of experience with the South African market in particular. Lea has been featured on various T.V. shows, radio stations, newspapers and magazines, and has played alongside over 30 of the worlds top DJ's. Currently, Lea is the most booked DJ in the country. She has had over 20 residencies, and has been a guest dj at almost every club in South Africa. Lea is professional, experienced and she always gets a good crowd response. Lea blends old and new sounds to create that sound that is unique to Lady Lea.....

Lady Lea has been a guest at most clubs in all major cities in and around South Africa, as well as in the UK. Lea is going on a European tour in October 2006 which includes Greece, Germany, Amsterdam and UK.

On a weekly basis, Lady Lea is featured on various TV and Radio shows, as well as News papers, magazines, web sites and Flyers.
